Course Description and Outcomes
A study of non-traditional manufacturing processes and other manufacturing aspects not covered by introductory manufacturing. At the end of this course, students will be able to
- Identify applications and understand physics of different non-traditional manufacturing processes.
- Create computer numerical control programs for 2.5 D milling and lathes
- Document the product development process and create test sets for manufactured products
- Effectively communicate manufacturing processes to others through verbal, written, and graphical means.
